No one lives in dignity until everyone can live in dignity.

VOLUNTEER

Habitat for Humanity Washington County strengthens families and neighbors by offering hope and dignity to those living in substandard housing, but this is not possible without the help of our many equitable & accountable partnerships. Every person has something to contribute and something to gain when creating a community in which all people have a safe, affordable place to live. With private funding and volunteer help, we are working together with the people of Washington County to build a better community.

Volunteers are the heart, soul and muscle behind creating a vibrant community where everyone has a decent place to call home. We offer many opportunities to roll up your sleeves and jump in! From volunteering for a 4-hour shift either in ReStore or on a build project, to serving on a committee, to something a little more involved like coordinating a Team Building day for your business/school or joining a Theme Build project – we have a place for you. Join us!

We need Volunteers like you! Please contact us for more information!

At Habitat for Humanity, we believe that no one lives in dignity until everyone lives in dignity. We believe that everyone, everywhere, should have a safe, affordable place to call home. At Habitat, we’re dedicated to building homes, but we also build communities, and a sense of hope. We empower families to help themselves.

Your donation to Habitat for Humanity of Washington County will help families break the cycle of poverty and build long-term financial security. With an affordable, stable home, families have more to spend on food, medicine, child care, education and other essentials. They become healthier, have better educational opportunities, and better job prospects. Your support can help us do more in all the many ways that Habitat builds.
